Rail Impact Test – Passed
The purpose of this test is to ensure that a loaded flexitank can withstand the force of multiple impacts routinely endured during the handling and transportation via rail.
AAR Rail Simulation Test – Passed
This two-day test consists of a series of impact tests and vibration tests simulating over 260 miles of travel over all classes of rail at accompanying speeds.
Rail Terminal Handling Procedures – Passed
EPT conducted a series of terminal handling maneuvers in order to measure and observe the effect of liquid dynamics and G-force upon the container and rail equipment.
Russian Railroad (OAO “RZD”) – Passed
RZD’s stringent testing included two separate rounds of high-speed impact tests. The second series of impact tests was followed by a long distance shipment of 932 miles (1,500 km) where the containers were successfully discharged upon reaching the final destination.
